1. Who we are

Facemancy (facemancy.com) is run by White Design Works Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11031915, registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX). In these terms, “we” and “us” mean White Design Works Ltd, and “you” means anyone using Facemancy.

By using Facemancy you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it. Our privacy policy explains how we handle information.

2. For fun only

Facemancy is entertainment inspired by traditional Korean face reading (관상). Readings are not predictions, assessments or advice of any kind – not about your personality, health, relationships, money, work or anything else. They are not scientific and say nothing true about you. Please don’t make decisions based on them, and don’t use them to judge other people.

3. Who can use Facemancy

You must be 18 or over.
Only scan your own face, live, with your own camera. In couple or group mode, everyone must be present, an adult, and happy to take part.
You may use Facemancy for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

4. Be kind: what you must not do

You must not use Facemancy, or the cards it makes:

to mock, bully, harass, shame or embarrass anyone;
on photos, videos or screens showing other people, or on anyone without their agreement;
to screen, rank or make decisions about people – for example for jobs, housing, dating, lending or insurance;
in any way that is unlawful, or that discriminates against anyone;
to copy, scrape, resell or reverse-engineer the service or its texts, or to interfere with how it works.

If you see Facemancy being misused, please tell us. We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.

5. Your photo and your cards

The face reading runs on your own device. We don’t receive, see or store your camera image, your face measurements or your results – see the privacy policy.

You can save and share the cards you make for personal, non-commercial use. If a card includes your photo or other people’s names, you are responsible for making sure everyone on it is happy for it to be shared.

6. Our content

The Facemancy name and logo, the app, its design, illustrations and texts belong to White Design Works Ltd or our licensors. These terms don’t give you any rights in them beyond using Facemancy as described here.

7. Paid readings (when introduced)

If we offer paid readings, we’ll show the price, including any VAT, before you pay. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see your full card details.
A paid reading is digital content delivered straight away. Before you pay, we’ll ask you to agree that it starts immediately and that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once it has been delivered.
This doesn’t affect your other legal rights. If a paid reading doesn’t work or isn’t as described, contact us and we’ll fix it or give you a refund, as UK consumer law requires.

8. Availability

Facemancy is provided as it is. We try to keep it running, but we may change, suspend or stop it, or any feature, at any time. It needs a modern browser and a working camera, and may not work on every device.

9. Our responsibility to you

If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that. We are not responsible for loss that isn’t foreseeable, or for decisions you make based on a reading. Facemancy is for domestic and private use, so we have no responsibility for any business losses.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where that would be unlawful, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breaching your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add new features or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change affects paid readings you have already bought, it won’t apply to them.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales; if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim there. If you live outside the UK, you keep any protections that the consumer law of your own country gives you.

1. 운영자

Facemancy(facemancy.com)는 잉글랜드·웨일스에 등록된 White Design Works Ltd(회사 번호 11031915, 등록 주소 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX)가 운영해요. 이 약관에서 ‘저희’는 White Design Works Ltd를, ‘이용자’는 Facemancy를 쓰는 모든 분을 말해요.

Facemancy를 이용하면 이 약관에 동의한 것으로 봐요. 동의하지 않으면 이용하지 말아 주세요. 정보를 어떻게 다루는지는 개인정보처리방침에 있어요.

2. 재미로 보는 콘텐츠예요

Facemancy는 한국 전통 관상에서 영감을 받은 재미 콘텐츠예요. 결과는 성격, 건강, 연애, 재물, 일 등 어떤 것에 대한 예언이나 평가, 조언이 아니에요. 과학적 근거가 없고, 이용자에 대해 사실을 말해 주지 않아요. 결과를 바탕으로 중요한 결정을 내리거나 다른 사람을 판단하지 마세요.

3. 이용 대상

만 18세 이상만 이용할 수 있어요.
본인 얼굴만, 본인 카메라로 직접 비춰 주세요. 커플·단톡방 모드에서는 참여하는 모두가 성인이고, 그 자리에 함께 있으며, 동의해야 해요.
개인적이고 비상업적인 용도로만 이용할 수 있어요.

4. 다정하게 써 주세요: 하면 안 되는 일

Facemancy나 결과 카드를 이렇게 쓰면 안 돼요.

누군가를 놀리거나 괴롭히거나 망신 주는 데 쓰기
다른 사람이 나온 사진, 영상, 화면에 쓰거나, 동의 없이 다른 사람에게 쓰기
채용, 집 계약, 소개팅, 대출, 보험 등에서 사람을 거르거나 순위를 매기거나 판단하는 데 쓰기
법을 어기거나 누군가를 차별하는 데 쓰기
서비스나 문구를 복제, 수집, 재판매, 역설계하거나 작동을 방해하기

악용되는 걸 보면 알려 주세요. 이 규칙을 어기면 이용을 막을 수 있어요.

5. 사진과 결과 카드

관상 풀이는 이용자의 기기 안에서 이루어져요. 저희는 카메라 사진, 얼굴 측정값, 결과를 받지도, 보지도, 저장하지도 않아요. 자세한 내용은 개인정보처리방침을 봐 주세요.

만든 카드는 개인적이고 비상업적인 용도로 저장하고 공유할 수 있어요. 카드에 내 사진이나 다른 사람의 이름이 들어가 있다면, 공유해도 괜찮은지 함께한 사람들에게 확인하는 건 이용자의 몫이에요.

6. 저희 콘텐츠

Facemancy 이름과 로고, 앱, 디자인, 그림, 문구의 권리는 White Design Works Ltd 또는 권리자에게 있어요. 이 약관은 여기서 설명한 대로 Facemancy를 이용할 권리 외에 다른 권리를 주지 않아요.

7. 유료 풀이 (도입 시)

유료 풀이를 도입하면 결제 전에 부가세를 포함한 가격을 보여 드려요. 결제는 결제 대행사가 처리하며, 저희는 카드 정보 전체를 받지 않아요.
유료 풀이는 결제 즉시 제공되는 디지털 콘텐츠예요. 결제 전에 바로 제공이 시작된다는 점, 그리고 제공이 끝나면 14일 청약철회권이 적용되지 않는다는 점에 동의를 받아요.
그 밖의 법적 권리는 그대로예요. 유료 풀이가 제대로 작동하지 않거나 설명과 다르면 연락 주세요. 영국 소비자법에 따라 고쳐 드리거나 환불해 드려요.

8. 서비스 제공

Facemancy는 있는 그대로 제공돼요. 계속 잘 작동하도록 노력하지만, 서비스나 기능을 언제든 바꾸거나 멈추거나 끝낼 수 있어요. 최신 브라우저와 카메라가 필요하며, 모든 기기에서 작동하지는 않을 수 있어요.

9. 저희의 책임

저희가 이 약관을 어기거나 합리적인 주의를 다하지 않아서 생긴 손해 중 예상할 수 있었던 손해는 저희가 책임져요. 예상할 수 없었던 손해나, 풀이 결과를 바탕으로 이용자가 내린 결정에 대해서는 책임지지 않아요. Facemancy는 개인적인 용도로 제공되므로 사업상 손실에 대해서는 책임지지 않아요.

다만 법으로 제한할 수 없는 책임은 이 약관으로도 제한되지 않아요. 저희 과실로 인한 사망이나 신체 상해, 사기, 소비자로서의 법적 권리 침해에 대한 책임이 여기에 해당해요.

10. 약관 변경

새 기능을 추가하거나 법이 바뀌면 약관을 바꿀 수 있어요. 맨 위 날짜가 최신 버전을 알려 줘요. 이미 구매한 유료 풀이에는 바뀐 약관이 불리하게 적용되지 않아요.

11. 준거법과 분쟁

이 약관은 잉글랜드·웨일스 법을 따라요. 잉글랜드·웨일스 법원에 소를 제기할 수 있고, 스코틀랜드나 북아일랜드에 사시면 그곳 법원도 이용할 수 있어요. 영국 밖에 사시는 분은 거주하는 나라의 소비자보호법이 주는 권리를 그대로 가져요.
